No phones. No 911 services. No help in sight. With time against you in an earthquake disaster, everyone needs to know where to quickly find help and where one can offer help and support.

TeamEarthquake.Org began with a simple question. Where will we go for help immediately after a major earthquake?

Following a major disaster, first responders who provide fire and medical services will not be able to meet the demand for these services... People will have to rely on each other for help in order to meet their immediate life saving and life sustaining needs.
— FEMA, Federal Emergency Management Agency, USA

The truth is, we will all be called to respond, even small children. They will be first responders, perhaps in their homes and classrooms. With First Aid Training for children and adults,  building neighborhood CERT Community Emergency Response Teams, and with a clear neighborhood /workplace response plan, we will be prepared and ready . Our preparedness will keep our children safe & communities ready and resilient.

100% of all donations go toward children, teen, & community first-aid and disaster preparedness programs and training.

SHARED RESPONSIBILITY

Presidential Policy Directive PPD-8 National Preparedness

Recognizing that preparedness is a shared responsibility, it calls for the involvement of everyone—not just the government—in preparedness efforts.

Whole Community includes:

  • Individuals and families, including those with access and functional needs
  • All Businesses both large and small
  • Faith-based and community organizations
  • Nonprofit groups
  • Schools and academia
  • Media outlets
  • All levels of government, including state, local, tribal, territorial, and federal partners

By working together, everyone can keep the nation safe from harm and resilient when struck by hazards, such as natural disasters, like earthquakes.
