Community Support
Our proudest accomplishment in supporting the community is our on-going affiliation with the Donnie Jarrell Foundation . A dear friend and multisport triathlete, Donnie's contributions to the multisport community are beyond compare. Since our friend was diagnosed with ALS, Team Earthquake has taken up the banner in support of Donnie and his family. We have produced two annual mutlisport events, the Du Donnie Du and the Tour d'Donzaroo and have had tremendous success with each. Team Earthquake has also chosen to make support of the Donnie Jarrell Fund the primary beneficiary of the proceeds that we receive from any event that we produce. Team Earthquake also promotes fitness as a way of life to the next generation of multisport athletes through the production of youth events. In connection with the Du Donnie Du, we also produce a duathlon for children. We join with other multisport clubs in our region that believe children can only benefit from exposure to these events. |
